Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the booking and provision of event planning and production services by SPRED EVENTS LLP ("SPRED", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Singapore, to any client ("you", "your", "the Client") who engages us to plan, coordinate or produce an event.

By confirming a booking, signing a proposal, or making any payment to SPRED (including a deposit or balance payment), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Refund Policy.

2. Our Services

SPRED provides end-to-end event planning and production services, which may include concept development, venue sourcing, vendor and supplier management, entertainment booking, production and logistics coordination, and on-site event management, as set out in the specific proposal agreed with you.

The exact scope of services for your event will be confirmed in a written proposal or quotation. Any services not listed in the agreed proposal are considered out of scope and may be quoted separately.

3. Bookings, Proposals & Deposits

• A booking is only confirmed once you have accepted a written quotation and paid the required deposit.
• Upon confirmation of the event, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quotation amount is required to secure the event date. Dates, venues and vendors are held on a tentative basis only until this deposit is received.
• The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than two (2) weeks before the event date.

4. Payment & Cancellation Terms

• All prices quoted are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated in the quotation.
• Any additional charges or expenses incurred within the two (2) weeks leading up to the event, or during the event itself, will be invoiced separately and must be paid within three (3) working days after the event.
• Full cancellation and deposit terms are set out in Section 6 below and in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and timely information (guest numbers, event requirements, approvals) needed for us to plan and deliver your event. Delays in providing required information or approvals may affect timelines, availability and final costing, and SPRED is not liable for resulting changes.

You are responsible for obtaining any licences, permits or approvals required for your event that fall outside the scope explicitly agreed with SPRED (for example, company-specific compliance approvals).

6. Cancellations by the Client

The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable in all cases.

If the event is cancelled within seven (7) days of the scheduled event date, the full quotation amount shall remain payable, including any outstanding balance.

7. Changes to Your Event

Requests to change the date, venue, guest count or scope of your event after booking are subject to vendor and venue availability, and may incur additional costs. SPRED will advise you of any cost or availability impact before proceeding with a requested change.

8. Cancellation or Changes by SPRED

In the rare event that SPRED needs to cancel or materially change a confirmed booking due to circumstances within our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule the event to a mutually agreed date at no additional cost. No refunds are issued.

9. Force Majeure

SPRED is not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, public health emergencies, industrial action, venue closure, or acts of terrorism. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule the event to a new date. No refunds are issued.

10. Vendors & Third Parties

Where SPRED books venues, entertainment, caterers, production companies or other third-party vendors on your behalf, those vendors' own terms and conditions may also apply. SPRED acts as the coordinator between you and these vendors but is not liable for a vendor's failure to perform, except where such failure results directly from SPRED's negligence in vendor selection or management.

11. Photography, Video & Marketing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, SPRED and its appointed photographers/videographers may capture photos and video during your event for portfolio, marketing and social media purposes. If you require confidentiality or wish to opt out of this, please notify us in writing before the event.

12. Liability

SPRED will perform its services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, SPRED's total liability to you in connection with any event shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to SPRED for that event, and SPRED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law.

13. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business information shared in the course of planning the event, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to deliver the agreed services (for example, to relevant vendors).

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you confirm a booking will apply to that booking. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
